These cordless RF Laser scanners can operate up to 100 feet from
their base station receiver which attaches to your computer by
serial or keyboard interface. Our cordless RF Laser scanner
products include a 1-Way RF Laser as well as the popular 2-Way
Laser scanner.
The 2-Way
Laser Scanner features a "confirming" beep on the Laser itself
to let the user know that the data was received by the base.

LZ202-RF 2-Way RF Laser Scanner
This "point and shoot" laser scanner operates up to 100 feet
from the base station which is attached as a wedge 2nd keyboard
to a PC or Mac or is attached to the serial port of any
computer. The laser scanner retries its transmissions until it
gets confirmation of data received from the base. Up to 8 RF
Laser Scanners can talk to one base station using collision
detect and retry logic. This scanner reads 0-16 inches from a
medium density code until a "good read" occurs scanning 36 times
per second. It uses the Symbol 1200 Scan Engine which has a
lifetime warranty on the scan element and is the same engine
used in our LZ200 corded product family. The RF Laser reads all
type of printed media and densities, including high density
codes |

B68/B58 2-Way RF Laser Base Station
The
2-Way RF Laser Base Station is available in both a serial
interface model (B58) or a keyboard wedge interface model (B68).
The B68 model can also be used with the USB Wedge Saver for USB
interface on a PC or Macintosh. Up to 8 RF Laser Scanners can
talk to one B68 or B58 base station using collision detect and
retry logic. |

LZ200-RF 1-Way RF Laser Scanner
The LZ200 1-Way RF Laser Scanner looks identical to the LZ202 RF
Laser described above but uses 1-Way communication only. The
main differences between the 2-Way RF Laser and the 1-Way RF
Laser are that the LZ200 RF Laser beeps only at the base
station, requiring you to stay in hearing range of the base
station and only 1 Laser is allowed per base station. It reads
from 1 to 15" distance away from a typical bar code - large
width bar codes are not a problem. As with the 2-Way RF Laser,
it attaches as a second keyboard on a PC or Mac or can attach to
a serial port. USB support is available using the Wedge Saver.
Operating distance is up to 100 feet from the base station.

B62/B52 1-Way RF Laser Base Station
The
1-Way RF Laser Base Station is available in both a serial
interface model (B52) or a keyboard wedge interface model (B62).
The B62 model can also be used with the USB Wedge Saver for USB
interface on a PC or Macintosh. Only 1 Laser is allowed per base
station. The confirming beep is heard only at the base
station, requiring the user to remain within hearing distance if
necessary. |
