Worth Data
introduces two new cordless products with the LI101-RF 1-Way
RF CCD Scanner and the LI102-RF 2-Way RF CCD Scanner.
These
new cordless scanners utilize the latest “Linear Imager”
technology that provides “laser-like” distance reading at CCD
prices. Both the LI101-RF and the LI102-RF are capable of
operating up to 100 feet from their Base Station. The Base
Station attaches to the host computer via either keyboard,
serial port or USB.
Both
the LI101-RF and the LI102-RF have incredible scanning distance
- up to 11” away from a typical UPC Code (not to be confused
with the 100 ft transmission range from the scanner to the base
station!).
These
scanners easily rival higher-priced Laser scanners in the
distance category and out-perform other CCD Scanners by reading
almost any width bar code from quite a distance away! With the
LI101-RF and the LI102-RF, the constraints usually associated
with a CCD scanner (no distance scanning) are gone - you get
laser-like performance from a CCD! Check out the comparison
chart of our LI101/102 scanners versus lasers...we think you'll
be surprised! |

LI102-RF 2-Way RF CCD Scanner
The LI102-RF 2-Way RF CCD Scanner beeps (in the scanner) when it
receives an acknowledgement from the Base Station. You don’t
have to be within hearing range of the Base in order to know you
got a good read. Multiple LI102-RF scanners (1 - 8) can
communicate with a single Base Station, (through collision
detection and retry).
The Base
connects either to the keyboard, serial port, or USB port of the
host computer. The LI102-RF can operate up to 100 feet from the
Base Station, and four frequencies are available. |

|
|
 |
B68/B58 2-Way RF CCD Base Station
The 2-Way RF
CCD Base Station is available in both a serial interface model
(B58) or a keyboard wedge interface model (B68). The B68 model
can also be used with the USB Wedge Saver for USB interface on a
PC or Macintosh. Up to 8 RF Laser Scanners can talk to one B68
or B58 base station using collision detect and retry logic.
|
|
|
|
 |
The LI101-RF 1-Way RF CCD Scanner
is a 1-Way RF scanner - a beep occurs at the Base Station only,
requiring you to stay within hearing range of the Base. You can
use only one LI101-RF CCD Scanner per base station. Up to four
frequencies are available allowing up to four scanner/base pairs
in an area |
|
|
|
 |
B62/B52 1-Way RF CCD Base Station
The 1-Way RF
Laser Base Station is available in both a serial interface model
(B52) or a keyboard wedge interface model (B62). The B62 model
can also be used with the USB Wedge Saver for USB interface on a
PC or Macintosh. Only 1 Laser is allowed per base station. The
confirming beep is heard only at the base station,
requiring the user to remain within hearing distance if
necessary. |
