Falcon 625 and the Falcon 665 will pass every test of
durability. Both the Falcon 625 and 665 have an IP66
sealed enclosure, which means they’ll weather the worst
day on a forklift in a shipyard or lumberyard. In
addition, both units are highly resistant to extreme
temperature, vibration and impact.
The
open architecture of these 486-based, DOS 6.22 terminals
mean easy application development. Both the Falcon 625
and Falcon 665 are available with PowerNet Twin Client
to support VT100, VT220, HP700/92, IBM 3270 and IBM 5250
terminal emulations. Both the Falcon 625 and the Falcon
665 come equipped with an EL super bright VGA display
for superior readability in low light conditions.
The
Falcon 625 is a half-screen computer with a choice of an
integrated QWERTY or ABCD, sixty key, backlit keyboards.
The Falcon 665 is a full-screen computer with several
choices of compact tethered keyboards.
Innovative keyboard and bracket design greatly increases
the industrial ergonomics of the Falcon 625 and Falcon
665 Vehicle Mounted Computers. PSC keyboards are
designed with large keys for gloved hand operation and
the keys are backlit for visibility. PSC keyboards are
also chemically coated for resistance to scratches and
abrasions. PSC’s rugged external keyboard for the Falcon
665 is designed for use in the most demanding operating
conditions. Utilizing PSC’s innovative keyboard bracket
design, the rugged external keyboard can be mounted
remotely or integrated with the Falcon 665’s mounting
bracket for additional space savings.
The
Falcon 625 and 665 aslo feature an internal DC power
supply, eliminating any requirements to mount an
external power supply on your vehicle.
And
like all PSC Falcon products, the Falcon 625 and Falcon
665 incorporate a radio-independent design. The Falcon
625 and 665 can be configured with any of the leading
2.4GHz spread spectrum wireless LAN solutions including
Cisco Aironet, Lucent, Proxim, and Symbol.
