200 - solenoid triggered interface
MMF's ECD-200 Cash Drawers integrate with most ECR/POS systems. No. 225-2200, two-wire version, incorporates a solenoid cable connected trigger which releases the cash drawer. Available either in 12V or 24V solenoids. NO. 225-220400, four-wire version, incorporates two additional wires connected to drawer detector switch to monitor open/closed drawer position. Available in 12V or 24V solenoids.

232 - dedicated serial/RS232 interface
Compatible with most of today's microcomputers. MMF's ECD232 is ideal where the full capabilities of ECD232 ND (non-dedicated) Cash Drawer is not required. MMF's ECD232 contains a specially designed relay board that recognizes the signal from the computer through the RS-232 serial communication port for automatic drawer opening sequence. ECD232 includes 2-wire free-end cable that permits the user to select the end attachment compatible with the host terminal's I/O serial port.

232ND - Addressable Serial/RS232 Interface
MMF's ECD232ND Non-Dedicated Cash Drawer is the cost effective solution designed for customers whose needs exceed the capabilities of a dedicated data-line drawer. ECD232ND Cash Drawer contains an interface board that allows the user to configure the drawer by means of DIP style switch packs to recognize the appropriate opening character, baud rate, data bits, stop bit and parity. The interface board includes a "Y" cable terminated with 25-Pin male and female connectors. One connector plugs into the computer and the other connects to an external device sharing the same data line as the cash drawer, such as a PC printer. MMF's ECD 232 ND Cash Drawer includes, as a standard feature, the opened/closed drawer detector switch.

232NP - Dedicated Serial/RS232 Interface Without External Power Module
MMF's 232NP Cash Drawer has all the capabilities of the 232 Interface without the external power module. The interface provides universal capability with any standard RS232 port. Any two character code, sent in succession, is all that is required to open the cash drawer. The baud rate is 9600 bps. Available with the standard 4-foot cable captive to the drawer and terminated with a 25-pin or a 9-pin RS232 connector. Increased Security - cash drawer will not open on "Power On/Down" or "Reset".

230PL - Parallel Interface Cash Drawer
Contains parallel interface board which permits the user to connect the cash drawer in addition to a printer, to a single parallel port. The interface board allows the cash drawer to open upon receipt of one opening character code which is user selectable by means of 8 switches in a DIP style switch pack. An "On" switch position represents a binary 1 and an "Off" switch position represents a binary 0 in the character code. Switch #1 will be the least significant bit and switch #8 will be the most significant bit. Connection between computer and cash drawer is with standard parallel printer cable; connection between drawer and printer is made with 36 pin female centronics cable mounted horizontally to circuit board. Having the connectors on the interface board reduces cable complexity. This arrangement provides universal capability with any working computer to printer scheme.

MCD-130 & 140 - Media Cash Drawers
MMF's MCD-130 & MCD-140 Cash Drawers are the ideal solution for non-cash transactions. Customer checks, courtesy checks, money orders and credit card sales receipts can be conveniently and quickly deposited. Simply deposit media through the front slot...no need to open the cash drawer.

Manual - Cash Drawers
All Manual Cash Drawers feature "touch button" drawer release and paraecentric key lock. Can be key locked or "touch button" locked for ease of repetitive use. Alarm bell sounds every time drawer is opened or can be deactivated if desired. Drawers can be mounted above or below counter top.
